A taste of what you will be doing
- Work with developers to address issues and resolve them within given SLA constraints
- Assist with deployments and debugging of applications within the environment
- Responding to and reporting critical security events, including taking corrective measures according to defined security policies and procedures
- Following up on issue resolution and documentation with vendors and other IT staff
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting productions systems with AWS, Cloudflare and Kubernetes
- Closely monitor the existing infrastructure and act if any anomalies arise as well as improving and the evolution, monitoring, and alert system
- Support and improve CI/CD systems
- Scripting of functions within the environment
- Help define, document, evolve and evangelize high engineering standards and best practices across multiple areas
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent level of technical background gathered from other certifications and/or working experience
- Experience in working with Linux operating systems
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Cloudflare
- Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Gitlab
- Previous work experience with CI/CD
- Knowledge in Terraform, Go, Javascript and Clickhouse would be considered an asset
