Requirements:
- Degree in a related ICT field
- 2+ years of similar role experience
- Proven leadership skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience in application management, 2nd line support, incident management
- Proficient in Release Management in CI/CD and agile environments
- Solid grasp of development, QA processes, DevOps in Agile settings
- Familiarity with Virtualization, Application Servers, APIs, and monitoring tools in Linux
- Proficiency in Database Queries
- Willingness for on-call duty
- Demonstrable background in software development (PHP, JavaScript)
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of tech ops specialists and service delivery professionals
- Manage incidents, driving platform improvements
- Provide 2nd line tech support, troubleshoot, and escalate issues
- Drive process and tech improvements for effective support
- Monitor application and business logic
- Oversee CI/CD Release Management, plan release activities
- Assist in script and tool development
- Own Incident Management, produce SLA and KPI reports
- Review problem management backlog, SLAs, and related KPIs
- Ensure team response to incidents and service restoration
- Lead the team responsible for platform service, support, and releases
- Manage, plan, and negotiate release activities
- Execute deployment and implementation plans
- Assist in script and tool development for software releases
- Train, coach, and mentor team members
- Coordinate with internal teams for improvement requests
