We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join this dynamic organization and contribute to their growing team. As part of this fast-paced company, you will handle multiple requests from various stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and execute them with precision. You will be expected to be proactive, creative, and capable of delving into data independently, presenting your findings to relevant individuals to enhance the company’s understanding of customers and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the go-to expert for all data-related queries within the organization.
• Contribute to the implementation of tools and frameworks for effective data analysis.
• Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis purposes.
• Support the management team with budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Conduct commercial analysis and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with business counterparts to offer key operational insights.
• Identify reporting requirements based on changes in customer behavior or new data additions and propose appropriate solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in a numerical subject or similar qualification (Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL)
• Familiarity with coding, preferably Python or similar languages
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Metabase, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Ability to clean, structure, analyze, and visualize data from various sources
• Passion for drawing insights from data and translating them into actionable outcomes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working with data scientists, engineers, and commercial teams

Desirable Skills (but not essential):

• Interest or previous experience in sports and/or casino gambling
• Solid understanding of statistics (probabilities, distributions, hypothesis testing)
• Proficiency in Python for automating complex processes and constructing data pipelines
