Cloud engineering is a field of engineering that focuses on cloud services. In general, Cloud Engineers are responsible for any technological duties associated with cloud computing, including planning, design, maintenance, management, and support.
The most important requirements and qualifications for Cloud Engineers:
- Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
- Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, big data, business intelligence, ETL, machine learning, advanced analytics
- Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with SysOps.
