We’re hiring a Data Architect to take ownership of a modern cloud data platform and shape how data is structured, accessed, and used across the business.
This role is focused on building a clean, scalable architecture — not just maintaining what’s there, but improving it.
The role
- Define the overall data architecture and standards
- Design a scalable warehouse/lakehouse setup in AWS
- Structure data for analytics, reporting, and downstream use
- Improve how data is ingested, transformed, and served
- Introduce governance, lineage, and quality controls
- Work closely with engineering and business teams to align data with real use cases
- Optimise performance and cost across the data stack
Environment
- AWS ecosystem (S3, Lambda, Redshift, etc.)
- Snowflake as the central warehouse
- SQL, Python
- Airflow for pipeline orchestration
- Terraform / IaC
What matters
- Experience designing data platforms, not just pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modelling and warehouse design
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Ability to simplify complex data landscapes
- Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
Bonus
- Snowflake experience in production environments
- Exposure to BI tools or analytics layers
- Experience with streaming or real-time data
- Certifications (AWS)
