Senior Data Engineer – €50.000+

Seeking a talented Data Developer to join a strong and steadily-growing data team. Responsibilities include organizing and storing data within the data warehouse environment and presenting information through reports and graphical dashboards. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges, takes ownership of their domain, and embraces learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain data warehouse reporting and database schema.
• Manage and administer Tableau technology suite.
• Design and develop data-driven dashboards for reporting.
• Coordinate data quality across multiple environments.
• Collaborate in scoping exercises with internal and external teams.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB) and columnar technologies (e.g., ClickHouse, Redshift, Snowflake).
• Proficient in SQL scripting, schema management, and ETL data concepts.
• Experience with Tableau-related technologies, primarily Tableau Server. Additional experience with Tableau Cloud, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Bridge, and Prep Conductor is beneficial.
• Familiarity with BI reporting tools and dashboard design (e.g., Tableau Desktop, Qlik Sense, PowerBI).
• Experience with version control tools like GIT.
• Understanding of basic Linux commands and server administration.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, GO, C#, C.
• Experience maintaining and administering AWS EC2-based machines.
• Ability to coordinate service uplifts for stakeholders with minimal disruption.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, particularly the AWS cloud technology suite.
• Experience with data movement across streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
