We are looking for a JavaScript Developer, who will be involved in implementing both the backend and frontend, to join a talented and collaborative team at the forefront of exciting new ventures. The team has built applications successfully and we are looking for a passionate candidate who will bring to the table creative and functional user experiences.
Required Experience
- Excellent skill set in using Nodejs and PostgreSQL.
- Successful implementation of backend components on the microservices environment.
- Design and implementation of data storage and schema.
- Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, functional specification, design, development, QA, and maintenance.
- Big Data project(s) experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Front-End frameworks is a plus.
- Social Monitoring and Integration experience is a plus.
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of development experience in relevant industry.
- Proficient experience in front and back end programming language (Node.JS, Angular, SQL, AWS, Agile Methodologies).
- Hands-on experience in web application security and secure coding practices.
