Working across the company, you’ll be responsible for identifying automated reporting opportunities, developing knowledge of all data sources, and working with the Data Architect to align on the wider usage of that data. You’ll be a part of supporting new initiatives and additions to the enterprise, supporting the data team in driving a data-led culture.
Experience
- A results-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for data
- Exposure to end-to-end report delivery
- Extensive experience working with Power BI and the DAX programming language
- Extensive knowledge of data modeling fundamentals
- Experience in performance optimization in Power BI
- Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies
- Knowledge of the various components of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Platform
Key Responsibilities
- Standardization of the PowerBI development. Owning and ensuring consistent naming conventions, standard ways of working, and clear development guidelines for use across the business.
- Responsible for the full BI life cycle, including development implementation, production support, performance tuning, and continuous improvements.
- Responsible for semantic models, which comprise a well-structured and optimized KPI framework allowing for dashboards that are both responsive and easy to maintain
