We are looking for an experienced Head of Frontend Development to lead a distributed engineering team and drive the technical direction of multiple frontend products. This is a strategic leadership role combining people management, technical leadership, and architecture ownership.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality frontend solutions, establish engineering best practices, and help shape the future of a growing technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the frontend architecture strategy across multiple products.
- Lead the development of new frontend initiatives while supporting and evolving existing applications.
- Establish engineering standards, coding best practices, and code review processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a remote frontend engineering team, including Team Leads and Senior Engineers.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions.
- Drive technical planning, architecture discussions, and long-term engineering decisions.
- Ensure frontend applications deliver excellent performance, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Promote the adoption of modern development practices, automation, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading frontend engineering teams in a remote environment.
- Strong background in JavaScript, React, and modern frontend development.
- Experience designing scalable frontend architectures for large applications.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern deployment practices.
- Experience managing engineering managers, team leads, or senior developers.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, code quality, and development workflows.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Ability to balance technical leadership with people management.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the iGaming, Gaming, FinTech, or other high-traffic digital industries.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks beyond React.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Experience building greenfield products and scaling engineering teams.
