We are looking for DevOps Engineers in Malta.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Software Engineers and QA Engineers to automate infrastructure, enhance CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized environments, and improve platform reliability. You’ll play a key role in enabling efficient software delivery while ensuring systems remain secure, resilient, and highly available.

Please note: This role includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rota to support business-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and on-premises Kubernetes
- Administer and maintain relational databases, including MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Configure and manage load balancers, SSL certificates, and secure network communications
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability using Grafana, Prometheus, and other monitoring tools
- Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python and/or Bash
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and QA Engineers to improve deployment processes and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure the availability of business-critical systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, including MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Experience configuring load balancers and SSL certificates
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent organisational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Full professional proficiency in English
