Software Vacancy
We are seeking a Senior .NET Technical Analyst to join an established software development team working on complex business critical systems. This role combines strong hands on .NET development experience with technical analysis, solution design, and stakeholder communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing existing systems, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, and supporting the evolution of legacy applications into modern solutions. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that requirements are correctly understood, documented, and implemented.
This position is suited for an experienced .NET developer who has progressed into a more senior analytical and design focused role, with the ability to take ownership of technical solutions from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into clear and structured technical specifications
- Analyse, document, and maintain understanding of existing software systems and architecture
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and refine requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to evaluate solution options and define optimal technical approaches
- Produce detailed functional and technical documentation to support implementation
- Contribute to system design decisions and support migration of legacy applications to modern platforms
- Support continuous improvement of development standards, practices, and architecture
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements
- Gather and analyse feedback from end users to improve system performance and usability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong background as a software developer with hands on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies
- Solid experience with C#, .NET Framework, WebForms, Microservices, and Entity Framework
- Strong understanding of software design, architecture, and system integration concepts
- Experience with VueJS is considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of databases, particularly MySQL and MongoDB
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong command of English, Maltese language is considered an advantage
