Data Engineer

We’re working with a global, data-driven company looking to hire a Data Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable data pipelines, improving data quality, and supporting product and analytics teams with reliable datasets. There’s also a strong focus on improving architecture and overall data maturity.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
• Develop scalable data models for analytics and reporting
• Optimise data workflows and improve performance
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation
• Work closely with product, BI, and analytics teams
• Support and improve cloud-based data infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve data reliability issues

Tech stack / environment

• Python, SQL
• AWS (preferred)
• Data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or similar)
• Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Modern cloud-based data platforms

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience working with cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing
• Good understanding of data modelling principles
• Experience working in Agile teams

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming technologies
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
